Good preparation is more than half the battle. In a good pre-talk in the form of a mini job training, I prepare the candidate for their showtime. You don't want to be caught off guard by questions like:
- What attracted you to our organization and why would you want to work here?
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
- What characteristics are you looking for in your team?
- What are your less strong points and how can we help you develop them?
- Do you have any questions for us?
How do you answer this systematically and smartly, so that you project confidence? No arrogance, no hot air, but being yourself and presenting yourself in the right way.
